Stories about songs–the soundtrack to our lives. Dana Rossi hosts this monthly dose of music inspired nostalgia where guest writers and performers tell the hilarious or heart wrenching stories and memories they forever tie to certain songs. The Soundtrack Series has been called “the best rock and roll storytelling event in New York” by Flavorpill, and has been featured in the New York Times, BUST, NY1, “Above and Beyond” in the New Yorker, a Critic’s Pick in Time Out New York, and included among the “Best Events and Things to Do in NYC” by CBS News New York.
James Bewley is Senior Program Officer at the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts in New York. Prior to joining the Foundation, he served as Director of Public Programs & Education at the UCLA Hammer Museum in Los Angeles where he was responsible for organizing hundreds of lectures, screenings, and cultural events. Bewley is also a visual artist, performer, and writer, whose work has been presented at venues in New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Seattle, Minneapolis, and Los Angeles. He has performed with the sketch comedy group Killing My Lobster, the Tony Award-winning Theatre de la Jeune Lune, and acclaimed theater designer, Robert Wilson. He is a co-creator and voice talent for the award-winning web animations, Strindberg and Helium, and is the producer and host of the performance/podcast project, Dale Radio. He received an honorary BA in Theatre from Brown University and his BFA in sculpture from the Rhode Island School of Design. He lives in Brooklyn.
Cammi Climaco is a visual artist and host of Six x Six at the PIT. She also cohosts Ask Me Stories and has done storytelling and stand-up shows all over the city.

Dana Rossi is the creator and host of The Soundtrack Series, a New York City storytelling event and podcast based on music. The series has been featured in the New York Times and “Above and Beyond” in the New Yorker, and it was a Critic’s Pick in Time Out New York. She is a contributor to the anthology Madonna and Me: Women Writers on the Queen of Pop, and her writing has also appeared in New York Press, Time Out New York, Broken Pencil, the Retroist,and In Digest. She still occasionally calls her iPod her Walkman, out of a habit she is now certain will never go away.
