The Read Live
Join bloggers Kid Fury and Crissle for their weekly podcast covering hip-hop and pop culture’s most trying stars. Throwing shade and spilling tea with a flippant and humorous attitude, no star is safe from Fury and Crissle unless their name is BeyoncĂ©. (Or Blue Ivy.)
As transplants to New York City (Kid Fury from Miami and Crissle from Oklahoma City), The Read also serves as an on-air therapy session for two friends trying to adjust to life (and rats) in the big city.
The Read is part of the LoudSpeakers Network and is published every week on iTunes, Soundcloud & Stitcher.

Kid Fury
Born in Miami and raising hell in New York City, Kid Fury is a media mouthpiece with a whole lot of nerve. In June 2006, he created an urban news/gossip site called The Fury, which has since become a popular award-winning blog. With over hundreds of thousands of hits a day, The Fury has become a staple in daily pop culture news for the snarky.
Now with Kid Fury TV, a YouTube channel currently holding over 73,000 subscribers, and chart-topping new podcast The Read, Kid Fury is pushing his brand across all avenues with a unique and sharp flare of truth, shade, and fuckery.
Crissle
Crissle is a writer adjusting to life in the projects of Washington Heights. Born in Louisiana and raised in Oklahoma, Crissle moved to NYC in June 2012 in search of the meaning of life and neighbors who believe in gun control. A half-hearted lesbian (crossed in Fall ’99), Crissle enjoys spending countless hours watching BeyoncĂ© performances on YouTube and pretending that updating her tumblr is an acceptable substitute for blogging.
