“A NIGHT OF LYNCH” at LPR featuring SILENCIO, PINK ROOM BURLESQUE
and WELCOMETOTWINPEAKS.COM, not to be missed!
David Lynch fans rejoice!!! LPR presents an entire evening filled
with the sights & sounds of Mr. Lynch’s strange and wonderful film
catalogue. The Pittsburgh based Lynch/Badalamenti tribute band,
SILENCIO returns with over 2 hours of live music covering songs from
nearly ALL of the films (Eraserhead to Inland Empire), as well as
original songs from their newly released album. If you caught them
back in May, then you’ll know to expect an amazing show. In addition,
members of the PINK ROOM BURLESQUE will be performing both on stage
with the band as well as an entire show of their own immediately after
Silencio’s second set. And in the downstairs lobby, the
WELCOMETOTWINPEAKS.COM fansite will be curating a Twin Peaks
exhibit featuring, among other things, previously unreleased photos from
the ’92 U.S. premiere of Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me. Rumor has it,
some “special” guests could be arriving as well. Not to be missed!
Silencio is:
Kirk Salopek, guitar
David Jamison, drums
Matt Booth, bass
Lee Hintenlang, sax
Dan Barrett, Keys
Dessa Poljak, vocals

Artists
This Pittsburgh collective has been inspired from the dark and
sometimes quirky films of David Lynch to not only re-create the
timeless soundtracks of his films, but to also compose original music
based on the direct influence of Angelo Badalamenti’s noir-jazz
vignettes. Their catalog spans nearly every inch of Mr. Lynch’s
catalog, covering a wide range of both instrumental and vocal pieces.
Anyone that’s a fan of David Lynch, dark-jazz or cinematic anthems
will love this show.
Francine “The Lucid Dream” is a singer, burlesque performer and producer based in New York City. She is known for her productions of The Pink Room: David Lynch Burlesque, a neo-burlesque show that tributes and satirizes the work of filmmaker David Lynch, as well as her mysterious persona – thus earning her the title “The Blue Rose of Burlesque”. Francine has traveled all over the country to perform in various festivals including Dallas, Chicago, Boston and New York.
