QUE BAJO?! is a NYC Dance Party that has been the latest buzz and sensation throughout the East and West Coast as Resident DJs Geko Jones (of Dutty Artz) and Uproot Andy (of ZZK, Bersa Discos) have been rompin NYC Clubs and garnering a loyal eclectic following for their unique brand of Tropical Bass music, including Uproot Andy’s Afro Latin Remixes that has captivated and generated a diverse following including many of today’s top Producers and DJs.

Li Saumet (Bomba Estereo, Colombia)
Dani Boom (Systema Solar, Colombia)

Daniel Broderick a.k.a. Dj Dani Boom first came across the power of Rave when he went to France at the beginning of the 90´s to meet his friends Fulana De Trax and Wakkatomic, who were then at the surface of their exploration into djing and were heavily influenced by the vibe of the Spiral Tribe. After going through many cosmic situations it was clear that a long trip behind the decks was the least Dani Boom could do to try and give others the possibility to connect too.

Over fifteen years have passed since Dani went back to Colombia to get the first Raves going there with the collective Mutaxion, then Ultrabass and today: Bogotrax (the biggest underground Electronic Music Festival in South America).

Thousands of ravers over hundreds of dance floors give account of the twisted corners of sound he has visited, to end up this day conspiring with the picoteros, rappers, producer, djs, and vj that are part of Systema Solar, the stereo laser flavour of the tropics!

Geko Jones

Jones renowned by both DJ’s and college professors here and in Latin America, Geko Jones is a DJ / Producer pushing forward a well thought out Latin agenda. His music and mix tapes span the tropical hemisphere, in which he collages together hours of globally sonic dance-floor theory and traces the musical migrations between Africa and the Caribbean.
