OTS has teamed up with RWD.FM to present a showcase of some of the station’s top talent for CMJ week. RWD.FM has quickly become a reliable source for all low end centric forms of dance music. While the station also boasts international talent, there is a strong concentration of US based DJs and artists, many of whom local to the northeast. We have enlisted most of them to show you just how deep RWD.FM rolls.
Longtime NYC DJ, producer and label owner, Liondub is a new addition to RWD and will undoubtedly be bringing the heaviest of low end rhythms with that dubbed out dancehall flair.
NJ club music took on a newfound worldwide recognition in the last year, and that’s large in part to Nadus, Ezrakh and DJ Reck. Best be prepared to move because the energy is infectious.
If you have spent any time in the Boston bass scene, you’ve probably heard Time Wharp & Fens in the mix. Time Wharp has also released music via our good friends at Astro Nautico, while Fens holds down resident DJ status for the MMMMaven Collective. They recently took their fun loving b2b sets to the airwaves and will be touching down in NYC to give us a taste.
The Green Villain camp coming out of Jersey City represents a DIY mentality that few can compete with. Positioning fresh street art next to heavy bass music is something we at OTS know all about and respect deeply. These guys are also an integral behind the scenes member of RWD.FM and will be bringing their show’s vinyl only mentality to the dance.
PT & Cambo are two of NYC music’s biggest supporters, who happen to be some talented writers, producers and DJs as well. Akin to Green Villain, they bring a vinyl only mentality that frees them to mix the way they want, and their diverse knowledge of beats always leads to surprises.
On the Sly’s resident DJ for both the party and the airwaves, knomad, will also be in the mix bringing you a set similar to the vibe of OTS radio; plenty of low end with that NY boom bap.

At OTS you can expect to hear emerging artists who are blurring genre lines, borrowing ideas and techniques from multiple different sounds, and creating something original and exciting. The party aims to create an environment where like minded artists and fans can get together, exchange ideas, network for new collaboration opportunities, and ultimately enjoy each others talent, craft and company. The mantra is simple; it’s a word of mouth thing.

knomad has been in the shadows and on the move learning new tricks and developing his craft. Never one to sit still for too long, his sets reflect this in constant genre juxtaposition. knomad’s mood and set depends on the night, and his respect for beats at all tempos is clearly evident. Only on the grid for a short time, knomad has performed on bills with james blake, jamie xx, ital tek, dave q, braille and others. As time rolls on expect a dedication to purveying quality riddims and curating exceptional musical adventures.
