Flavorpill is hosting a benefit for Food Bank NYC, an amazing organization that is working tirelessly to help feed those most in need during these challenging times in NYC. Many of you have already experienced the playful, fun vibes we’ve created during our LUNCH BREAK series and tomorrow we continue in that tradition as well as support a terrific cause. We have LCD Soundsystem’s Pat Mahoney DJing and Absolut, Gawker and Rock the Vote (yes, it’s Election Day as well) co-hosting possibly the most powerful one hour dance party ever. The NYC Food Bank will be onsite raising money to go toward Hurricane Sandy Disaster Relief. We are asking for cash donations, as the Food Bank told us the $1 = 5 meals, so it seems the most efficient. Money is preferable, but if anyone wants to donate nonperishables instead of cash, we will not turn it away. It’s free to RSVP (includes a complimentary cocktail & free lunch to go) and we ask people to give what they can at the door. Please RSVP and post the link where you can. Our goal is $5K which equals 25,000 meals. Let’s do this!
