Porcupine Hugs –

Porcupine Hugs is a whimsical stationery company featuring owner Dorkys Ramos’ hand-illustrated designs and musings. Design themes cater to every day hellos, milestone celebrations and all the friendly greetings in between. And because Dorkys is Dominican, she’s also released a line of Spanish cards that are fresh and so cute.

Not only will their batch of goodies make you smile, but they’re friendly towards Mother Nature, too. Porcupine Hugs is committed to helping our environment so cards are printed on 30% post-consumer waste paper using wind power, envelopes are recycled, and products are packaged in biodegradable plastic sleeves made from plants that are fully compostable.

Simple but sweet, Porcupine Hugs lets you handle all your affections with care.

This is a general admission event in The Gallery at LPR.

The Lost & Found Show’s “Weapons” Edition

Each month’s show is based on a typical object – hats, wallets, cigarettes. Things that end up in a lost and found box. These things tell stories, whether lost memories or made-up tales. They reflect our lives, where we come from, and where we’re going.

The show is a creative meeting of the minds: we’ve featured authors, bloggers, actors, cabaret singers, magicians, comedians, travel writers, psychedelic gurus, TED talk speakers, Moth storytellers, burlesque performers, and even a ukulele player.

If you have a story that you want to share, take a look at their Submissions page, and send in your story.
