Sit back and enjoy true accounts of failed restraint and bodily blunders from comedians and storytellers like Kevin Allison (RISK!), Emily Heller (Comedy Central), Shannon Cason (The Moth), Robin Gelfenbien (Yum’s the Word), Victor Varnado (Jimmy Kimmel) and Nick Vatterott (Conan O’Brien).

I Shit You Not: Stories not for the faint of fart
“I SHIT YOU NOT!” is a monthly storytelling series based out of Chicago with a focus on on real-life pooped-in-your-pants stories and
other bodily blunders. The show was created by hosts/producers Michael Sanchez and Monte LaMonte out of a mutual appreciation for these embarrassing tales.
Each month Monte and Michael host a line-up of Chicago’s best comedians, storytellers and regular people sharing their best/worst true stories of failed restraint.

Kevin Allison
Kevin Allison is the host and creator of the wildly popular podcast, RISK!, where people tell true stories they never thought they’d dare to share. After starting from scratch in Kevin’s bedroom in 2009, RISK! has grown to have nearly 1 million downloads per month and has featured stories from Margaret Cho, Kevin Nealon, Andy Dick, Sarah Silverman and regular folks from around the world. Kevin is also a member of the legendary sketch comedy group The State, whose 90’s MTV show remains a cult classic.

Emily Heller
Emily Heller is a comedian and writer who likes you very much. You may have seen her on the third season of John Oliver’s New York Stand Up Show on Comedy Central, or as one of the New Faces at the 2012 Montreal Just For Laughs Festival. In 2011, She was included in Comedy Central’s Comics to Watch, won Rooftop Comedy’s Silver Nail Award, and was named one of the “Funniest People in Town” by 7×7 Magazine. Praised in San Francisco for what her friends call her “self-deprecating feminist slob poetry,” Emily now lives in New York City and performs stand-up all over the country.
In addition to regularly photoshopping her head onto celebrities’ bodies, Emily cohosts the podcast Baby Geniuses with Lisa Hanawalt, as well as popular stand up showcases The Afterlife at the Sidewalk Cafe and Fresh Out! at UCB East.

Robin Gelfenbien is a NYC-based comedian, storyteller and writer.
As a storyteller, Robin has performed at The Moth, RISK!, Mortified and more. She is the creator of the podcastand live storytelling series, “Yum’s the Word,” that features her homemade ice cream cakes. The show has been named a Time Out New York Critic’s Pick, one of “5 Best Storytelling Series in New York” by CBS New York and Bon Appetit raved, “We love Yum’s the Word.”
