Brian DeGraw (b. 1974) is an American artist, musician, and DJ living in both New York City and Woodstock, NY.

His involvement in the arts has run the gamut of medium and approach for the past 20 years. His visual work has been shown in group and solo exhibitions around the world both independently and as part of the permanent roster of the James Fuentes Gallery in NYC. His musical accomplishments are varied, having worked on several collaborations with other artists such as Harmony Korine, Rita Ackerman, and Doug Aitken, and most notably as the founding member of the experimental electronic group Gang Gang Dance. He has toured the world over with this group for the better part of the past ten years. When he is not traveling he can also be found working with other musicians in various contexts which include directing music videos for Panda Bear, producing remixes for the likes of Sinead O’connor, Animal Collective, and Battles and doing film soundtrack work. Most recently he has been exploring the field of film and video in an attempt to bring all the various aspects of his creative output into one audio/visual realm. In addition to his visual work within the gallery setting, he has also designed several album covers for record labels including Domino, 4AD, Warp, and the Social Registry.

In August of 2012, Brian participated in Ford Fusion’s collaboration with MILK Studios, revealing “Wall to Wall: The Fusion Collective” – a new project including an immersive gallery experience featuring original multimedia artworks and performances – which opened in New York and then traveled to Los Angeles. – via Rassamontaser.com
