When S. Carey and White Hinterland play LPR on Wednesday, April 16, they’ll both be riding high on new albums that are due out on the first of the month.
 
Jagjaguwar will be releasing S. Carey’s “very California-inspired” Range of Light, and this week he debuted the video for “Crown The Pines”:
 

 
White Hinterland’s Baby will be her third LP on Dead Oceans. It’s “poised to display her transformation from a more introverted singer performing over drones and glitchy beats to her own best producer soaring over bombastic experimental R&B,” according to Stereogum, which premiered the title track earlier this month:
