Darlinda Just Darlinda has been working as a Burlesque Performer in New York since 2003. She coined the term “Polyester Performance”, an inspiring mixture of Burlesque, Modern Dance, Performance Art, Comedy Sketch, and Drag Queen Ballet. She holds a degree in Teledramatic Arts and Technology from California State University, Monterey Bay. In this program Darlinda was given the tools to integrate many art forms, theater, Film, Video, New Media, and Radio. Focusing on live performance she’s produced Burlesque events in New York City and California. Since October 2005 Darlinda has continued to produce her own brand of burlesque show, most recently “GREEN WITH ENVY BURLESQUE” in February of 2008 as part of her “living art project” called A Year in Rainbow www.yearinrainbow.com. In February 2007 Darlinda was honored to perform with Julie Atlas Muz at PS122 Divine Comedy of an Exquisite Corpse. In October of 2007 Darlinda participated in the Feminist Neo-Burlesque Symposium at The Central School of Speech and Drama at the University of London.

Pinchbottom is where burlesque meets theater, buys it a drink, and takes it to bed. It is both the name of a production company which produces themed & scripted burlesque shows in New York City, and the title under which its two creators -- Nasty Canasta and Jonny Porkpie -- perform as a duet. Each Pinchbottom show centers around a different theme, linking together striptease and variety acts from top performers with a topical narrative... and, believe it or not, a plot. A scripted plot.

After years of desk jockeying for "the man", this Gal Friday decided to take her talents and apply them to the stage. The lady that once typed 70 words a minute, with a sardonic smile on her face and a clever quip playing on her lip, is now one of New York's Burly-Q bombshells. She can be found performing all throughout NYC. Hiding a gal like this behind a desk is a crime!!! Gal co-produces "THE SKULLDUGGERY AND SKIN SHOW" alongside the magical mind of ALBERT CADABRA, the first Saturday of every month at THE PALACE OF WONDERS in Washington, DC. Gal Friday recently performed at the 2008 Miss Exotic World Pageant in Sin City, Las Vegas! In news of the fabulous: Gal was recently crowned MISS CONEY ISLAND! She is extremely proud and excited to be the glamorous face (and figure) of Coney Island!
