The Second Smile Revolution Fundraising Concert is being held on Saturday, January 29th from 1-4pm at Le Poisson Rouge, 158 Bleecker Street, Greenwich Village. The concert is intended for children and the child within us all. The Smile Revolution's mission is to promote conscious awareness to the healing power of a genuine smile. Princess WOW! aka Mindy Fradkin-Mousaa is the founder of this movement which began in 2005 at her Dad's deathbed. Mindy's father rarely smiled since he had a terrible tragedy as a child. The last time she saw him conscious, her dad gave her a big grin which had a great effect on her life.
Prominent and inspired performers include Sid Bernstein (promoter who brought The Beatles to America), Lisa Lowell (Bruce Springsteen, Jon Bon Jovi), Deni Bonet (REM, Cyndi Lauper), Candy John Carr (Donavon), The Roches, Princess WOW! and Prince POW WOW aka Roland Mousaa (Pete Seeger), Constance Haumann, internationally known opera star and many more amazing performers wil be expressing their joy to promote this worthy cause. Children will be singing (Outer Child Band of 10-11 years) and attending as well. Who knows more about joy than children?
Princess WOW! will be the host of this F-U-N event. She and Prince POW WOW will be making a tv appearance to promote this special concert on the new Joey Reynolds show as well as Joe Franklin's radio show to promote her new tv show to promote The Smile Revolution. Home made cookies by Princess WOW! will be available for sale to help in the fundraising efforts along with unusual items for children hand made by Mary Poppiins.
At the concert, Princess WOW! will also be spreading the word about the Leonard Peltier plight with a special event planned in support of his release from prison. John Scher, possibly the biggest promoter in the world, in coopertion with other producers including Princess WOW's husband, Roland Mousaa, will be putting on this concert in New York City featuring well known performers.
