John F. O’Donnell works for the Comedy Forces of Good. He is a goddamn passionate Comedian living in New York City since 2005, where he performs his tits off. He started doing Stand Up in Ann Arbor, Michigan in 2001 and he’s still totally into it. He also performed for a year in Dublin, Ireland in 2003. John is a high energy, high substance, stream of consciousness type, who also has outbursts of extreme brilliance. He’ll talk about anything: Sex, War, Nintendo Power Gloves, Creme Brulee. ANYTHING! He’s super fun to hang out with, as well. He’s pretty much beloved throughout all the land. And a lot of people call him JFOD. John F. O’Donnell has been featured as one of Comedy Central’s Fresh Faces of Comedy. He was nominated for a 2007 ECNY Award in the category of Best Emerging NYC Comic. He was a featured performer at the 2008 Bridgetown Comedy Festival (Portland, Oregon), as well as the 2008 New Orleans Comedy Arts Festival. He will be presenting his own show entitled, "JFOD Loves NYC Comedy Videos" at the 2008 Seattle True Independent Film Festival in June. He will also be making his Edinburgh Fringe Festival debut this August in a two person show entitled, "Irish American" alongside the inimitable Eleanor Tiernan. In New York City, John hosts a weekly Wednesday night 8pm show called The KINGDOM OF HEAVEN with his buddy, Timmy Williams, from IFC’s The Whitest Kids U’ Know. John also hosts a new biweekly Saturday night 8pm show called JFOD LOVES YOU. He’s so psyched about it all!
