Joe DeRosa
Joe DeRosa started his stand-up comedy career in Philadelphia during the winter of 2001. He soon relocated to New York City and began working at venues such as Stand-up New York, the Comic Strip, and Gotham Comedy Club. He also made appearances on “Last Call with Carson Daly,” Comedy Central’s “Premium Blend,” the “New Faces” showcase at the Montreal Comedy Festival and on national tours such as Dave Chappelle’s “Block Party Tour,” the “Insomniac Tour with Dave Attell,” and “Comedy Central on Campus.” Joe continues to perform constantly, making television appearances and headlining clubs and colleges both in and out of the country. Most recently, he co-starred in a network pilot presentation for Comedy Central entitled “The Watch List,” made a guest appearance on the IFC series “Z-Rock,” and was one of twelve comedians selected to perform on HBO’s brand new stand-up comedy show “Down and Dirty with Jim Norton.” Joe also taped a half-hour “Comedy Central Presents” special which aired in the fall/winter of 2008.
Shayna Ferm
Shayna Ferm grew up in Parker, Colorado where she never learned to snowboard. She moved to Chicago at the ripe age of 17 to attend The Theatre School at DePaul University and promptly lost her virginity. After graduating with a valuable BFA degree in Acting, she did theatre in Chicago until a play she was in at The Goodman was picked up by Manhattan Theatre Club, moving Shayna to NYC. After her career peaked at age 23, Shayna created her sketch comedy group, FEARSOME and tapped into her comedy and song writing skills. She went solo with her music after much pressure from her parents to be a starving, backroom bar performer who’s dirty sensibilities might kill her chance for that big break, and has been performing all over the NY alternative comedy scene ever since. With a flair for the inappropriate and a rack like a ten year old boy, Shayna’s music will soften your heart and harden your penis.
Jesse Popp
Representing the great state of Michigan, Jesse Popp has been on Comedy Central's Premium Blend, runs a weekly show at the Beauty Bar on 14th Street (where you can get your nails done or whiskey neat.) and is busy gentrifying Bushwick. Click here to check out the New York Times' article on Jesse!
