Sirens After Dark is an entertainment showcase/after party in NYC for all to attend. Created by Rhapsody James, we celebrate Dance, Music, and Fashion. S.A.D uses a cabaret setting to create a wonderful night of drinks, networking and entertainment. S.A.D is designed for Choreographers and Artists/Musicians to showcase their artistic talents freely.

Thematically driven by the production Siren Assassins, the night will be filled with a sexy yet edgy vibe that is entertaining for all.

Gamelan Dharma Swara presents Legong Keraton, a traditional court dance, featuring 3 dancers telling a tale of a king. Also, the rarely seen Wayang Kulit (Balinese Shadow Puppet Play) will be accompanied by a Batel ensemble (Bronze-keyed quartet, flutes, drums and percussion) and recount an episode from the Ramayana, an ancient Hindu epic. The ensemble will be led by I Nyoman Saptanyana (Musical Director), Ni Ari Ayu Candrawati (Dance Director) and I Gusti Komin (Special Guest Artist). The performance takes places Sunday May 20 in the afternoon and is family friendly.

This stunning 17th-century masque from the early days of opera recounts Cupid's woes when women no longer heed their lovers' desires. Cupid asks Pluto to bring the spirits of women who rejected love up from the underworld to show what fate awaits them in the afterlife. The very non-feminist message is turned on its head with the addition of other Monteverdi songs and original dialogue that create independent characters and a play within a play. Filled with humor (a real three-headed dog!), action, and thrilling music, this production of "Ballo" originated at the Amherst Early Music Festival to a rave response. With music direction by acclaimed lutenist Grant Herreid and choreography by historical dancer Dorothy Olsson, this compelling tale appeals to early music buffs and modern audiences alike
