Dan Lipton
About
Dan Lipton has worked for over a decade in music as a
performer, writer and arranger. His diverse career bridges
pop music, film scoring and theatrical projects. He has
played piano on three Grammy-nominated recordings,
received four ASCAP songwriting awards and has scored
several award-winning short films. He performed in the
orchestras of the Broadway musicals Dirty Rotten
Scoundrels and The Full Monty. He has appeared onstage
in The Coast of Utopia at Lincoln Center and The Bridge
Project at BAM. He is co-creator and music director of the
comedy variety show Don’t Quit Your Night Job. He also
arranges music and leads bands for a number of singers
including Audra McDonald, John Lloyd Young, Kelli O’Hara
and Jason Danieley. Dan Lipton is represented by Thomas
Pearson at ICM.
